Became a Freeman of NYC 7 July 1708  ["The Burghers of New Amsterdam and the Freemen of New York 1675-1866, collections of the New York Historical Society, 1885, p.88:]

Children attributed to this generation by John Henry Guest:

1.  John GUEST Sr.,  b.abt.1692 due to Susanna bap. of 10 Mar.1694, (J.H.Guest wrong assumption)

2.  a Mary GUEST, b. say 1694 (She was identified as a Quaker and a nurse and had ties to Trinity Church of NYC. The birth year is approximate assuming she was at least 20 years old at her deposition on 17 Feb 1713 regarding a defacement of Trinity Church (NYC).

3.  a possible William GUEST (MW) who had children: ?

Find several COOK children in “Edward Willett’s School Book” whom he taught:

Else Cook GUESS (student 1734-35),

Hannah Cook GUESS (1734-37),

William Cook GUESS (1735-37) [NYGBR 109:3] which put their birth dates say around 1724.

Find several COOK children  in “Edward Willett’s School Book” whom he taught:

Else Cook GUESS (student 1734-35), Hannah Cook GUESS (1734-37), William Cook GUESS (1735-37) [NYGBR 109:3] which put their birth dates say around 1724.  If these children are of this family then they would probably have had to have been (timewise) by a dau. married to a COOK.
